Super Lube 21030 Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with PTFE – 85 g

Synthetic multi-purpose grease, NLGI grade 2, carrying a suspension of SYNCOLON® (PTFE) — Super Lube's best-known product and the default choice wherever metal works against metal. The PTFE particles fill the microscopic irregularities of the surface and cut friction even once the lubricant film has thinned.

What it is for

21030 or 92003 — which one

These are two different greases and they do not substitute for one another.

21030 has a hydrocarbon base. It carries higher loads and is the right choice for metal against metal: lead screws, bearings, gears, guides. This is the general-purpose workshop grease.

92003 has a silicone base. It is gentler on plastics and rubber, it is dielectric, and it is the one Bambu Lab names in its maintenance documentation for the Z-axis lead screws of its printers. If you are servicing a Bambu Lab printer, reach for 92003.

For every other machine — printers of other brands, routers, plotters — 21030 is more versatile and cheaper per gram.

What not to lubricate

Rods and shafts running on self-lubricating bearings are never greased — grease attracts dust onto them and accelerates wear. That includes the X-axis carbon rods in Bambu Lab printers, which are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol only.

For precise placement in hard-to-reach spots we recommend the genuine Super Lube 10201 applicator, which screws onto this tube.
