Super Lube Maintenance Kit for Bambu Lab 3D Printers
A set of lubricants arranged according to Bambu Lab's official service documentation. Every moving part of the printer needs something different — and using the wrong product does more harm than skipping maintenance altogether.
What is in the kit
- Super Lube 92003 — silicone grease with PTFE, 85 g — for the Z-axis lead screws
- Super Lube 51014 — synthetic oil with PTFE, 7 ml — for the Y-axis rods
- Applicator 10201 — dispensing cap for the 85 g tube — for placing grease precisely
Three zones, three different rules
Z axis — grease. Bambu Lab names Super Lube grease by part number 92003 in its documentation. Squealing or knocking as the bed travels is the signal that the thread is running dry.
Y axis — oil. The rods need thin oil, not grease. Grease on a rod collects dust and turns into a grinding paste.
X axis — nothing. The carbon rods are neither greased nor oiled. Their bearings are self-lubricating, and any lubricant pulls dust onto them and shortens their life. Clean them with isopropyl alcohol only.
That last one is the most common mistake people make servicing their own printer — which is exactly why this kit deliberately contains nothing for the X axis.
How long it lasts
Bambu Lab recommends a service every three months. An 85 g tube and a 7 ml bottle cover several years of regular maintenance on one printer — or a season of work on a small print farm.
